Dr Maria Tran graduated with Honours from Sydney University School of Dentistry over 20 years ago. She also holds a Master of Education and has over two decades of experience in teaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in dentistry, including Endodontics at Melbourne Dental School, and final year Integrated Clinics at Sydney Dental School. Currently, Dr Maria Tran is the Pre-clinical Tooth Conservation Coordinator at the Sydney Dental School.
Alongside her teaching roles, Dr Maria Tran also maintained a professional practice career path in multidisciplinary practices across Sydney and Melbourne, including having managed her own dental surgery. Her broad dental clinical experiences and educational expertise provide unique lenses to understanding patient's needs and treatment options. Maria has been involved in many humanitarian projects with Rotary International Australia including providing dental care in Vietnam and Mongolia. In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading, music and spending quality time with her family.
